Do you remember that girl i was talking about?? Jaina Brock ?
Πλέον δεν είναι απλά το κορίτσι που ανεβάζει τραγούδια στο youtube αλλά και η πρωταγωνίστρια του footloose Ariel !!

SOMETIMES you meet someone who you just know has got what it takes to succeed in whatever it is they want to do.
And when that dream is getting into show business, they really do need to have something special about them.
If Jaina Brock from Milton Keynes didn’t have that little bit of magic, she would never have been selected, from several hundred kids, to play the leading role of Ariel in this summer’s Stage Experience production of Footloose – The Musical. Though she is still only 16 and studying at Walton High School, Jaina has her sights set on becoming a professional actor.
“I know the competition is ridiculous,” she said. “But in five years time, hopefully, I’ll be appearing in the West End.”
It’s only a short time since Jaina started training at the Myra Tiffin Performing Arts School. “This was the first time I had auditioned for a show,” she says. “I had to learn a dance and sing a solo number but I didn’t feel too uncomfortable. I got called back and got down to the last six for the part of Ariel. Everybody was trying to show off and show how good they were but I just loved it. When I heard that I’d got the part I was gob-smacked. I did an actual double-take.”
If Jaina does make it into the profession she will at least have had a taste of how tough it can be. “We were told to learn our lines – be off-script – before rehearsals even started” she said.
“And we have less than two weeks rehearsal time before the show opens. We are warned before we start that in this company we are faced with ‘The Triple Threat’. That’s having to be able to act, sing and dance to a professional standard. But more than anything else, it’s what I want to do in the future. As far as I’m concerned, if I can’t be a performer, I don’t even have a future!”
Footloose will be performed at Milton Keynes Theatre on Friday and Saturday. For more information visit www.atgtickets.com/miltonkeynes
